Rain, Rain and More Rain

It has been non stop rain all day so I thought I would post something from a recent sunny day. Few weeks back my daughter and I went to the Fort Worth Zoo. I have always loved this zoo. Here are some of my faves from that day.

Happy St. Patricks Day!

No.......I'm not Irish, but I love this little Texas town with an Irish twist. Dublin, Texas..................

I have been to this little town a few times to photograph and soak up the Dr. Pepper!
Check it out, it's a great little place.

Juicy Lucy

On the day we went to Fort Myers we stopped by Juicy Lucy's for hamburgers before heading for the beach to catch a sunset. Pretty good burgers and tenderloin sandwiches.

Sweet Fruit

Well, I wanted to post as much, as fast as possible about our trip. It was a great trip, I'm sorry for it to come to an end. I think I could actually live there. Maybe some day I will be a "snow bird".

The fruit trees at the house had already been cleaned off. We had just a few to enjoy and bring home with us. I love the fruit right off the trees, so juicy and sweet, not at all like what you buy at the grocery store. The strawberries were so delicious and sweet.

Need more space?

Few more pix!

Space..........the Final Frontier

We had been to the space center something like 24 years ago. Totally different now.....such a neat place ......but one day is not enough, we went the following day also. Amazing how far we have come.........and gone.

Osceola Flea Market

Saturday March 8th my hubby and I took off to Osceola Flea Market. Sunday March 9th we went to the "Super Flea" in Melbourne. Lots of fun hubby then surprised me when we left Melbourne and headed north. We ended up at the Kennedy Space Center. More on that in the next post!

More Edison & Ford

Too many pix I want to share!

Edison & Ford

March 7th we took off early for Ft. Myers. I had been to Edison's Estate in Ft Myers two times many years ago. They now have opened for tours Henry Ford's Estate right next to Edison's. This is such a fascinating place. The beauty and history is wonderful. Plants from all over the world. Just the accomplishments of these two men is incredible.

Moose and Dominoes

Thursday March 6th we went to Lake Placid to my hubby's aunt and uncles. His aunt has always been my favorite aunt on his side. Lots of fun. We visited a short time at their house then they took us to the Moose Club and had hamburgers and watched some great older couples cut a mean rug! I wish I would have taken my camera to the Moose, but I didn't. We then ended up back at their house and played dominoes. It was a good visit, I'm glad we were able to get together with them on this trip.
