It has been a while since I had been back to IL in the spring. Usually we are there in the late fall or the heat of the summer. So it was a treat to see all the trees budding out and in all their flowering glory. Redbuds, sassafras, dogwoods, lilacs..............just beautiful!

Your pictures are lovely. I live at a very high elevation and we haven't started spring yet. Maybe we'll actually get lilacs this year! That would be fantastic! Best of luck!!
Loved all of the pictures espcially the flowers. My favorite was the poppies. Beautifully done!
