I'm feeling a bit home sick today. Wishing I was there with my folks for even a short visit. To recharge my batteries so to speak.
The Dairy Queen in Flora has the very best sodas. When we go back it is a given we are going to make as many trips for our usual, a "chocolate marshmallow coke" with a skinny straw, it nearly puts you in a sugar coma right off, but oh how good it is!
These horses have been in Kiwanis Park on the east end of Flora for as long as I remember. I remember (I was very young) when they put up the Rocket Slide. I can remember thinking it was huge! I was scared to slide down it for the longest time.
